Chematur Engineering AB can supply hydrogen peroxide
plants with capacities up to 50,000 tpa.

Process Description

The main principle for the continuous process is hydro-genation of an anthraquinone derivative dissolved in a mixture of solvents, followed by oxidation in air or oxygen to produce hydrogen peroxide. The product is extracted from the organic solution by demineralised water. The solvent / anthraquinone mixture is recycled back into the process. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide produced by this process is normally about 35% up to 40%, but can be further concentrated up to of any concentration between 50% to 70% by distillation.

Characteristics of Chematur's process

Chematur's autoxidation process is a highly automated, state of the art hydrogen peroxide production process. The Chematur design results in a process with a high safety and operability level and minimum environmental impact. The high safety and environmental impact demands participate in keeping the lowest consumption of raw materials and utilities and supplying a product of excellent quality.
