| During the years Chematur Engineering
AB (Chematur) has expanded its process technology from
the original explosives and propellant processes
dating from the late 19th century into other areas. Our knowledge of safe handling and operation of hazardous chemical processes has led to expansion into processes
for isocyanates, hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, and acid
purification. We have been active in ethanol and ethanol derivates for more than 40 years. Since the mid 80s we have been the owner of the continuous Biostil fermentation process. In the mid 80's Chematur acquired Weatherly Inc., a leader in nitric acid and fertilizers. In 1993, we established partnerships and won the first contract for a hydrogen peroxide manufacturing plant. In 1996, Chematur Ecoplanning was merged into the family of companies. Ecoplanning is strong in acid purification and evaporation and crystallization applications. |

available. The group has successfully practiced global engineering where different companies share the same database working round the clock. |
